Raised in the heart of Cajun culture, Greer grew up prioritizing weekly television episodes over just about everything else— an approach that, surprisingly, worked out in her favor. Graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Louisiana, Greer decided that she was not ready to join the real world in the midst of a pandemic, and instead opted for another degree and a chance to live in the Sunshine State.
Putting her love of television to work, she graduated in 2023 from the University of South Florida with a Master’s in Film and Television Studies and published her graduate thesis, Losing the Streaming Wars: What Netflix Loses in Television Narrative and Participatory Fan Cultures. What started as years of overanalyzing media—both academically and recreationally—evolved into a career in the legal field, where the same instincts for narrative, detail, and interpretation now shape her professional work.
When she’s not working, Greer can usually be found at one of Orlando’s theme parks or making full use of her AMC A-List membership, lest she forget her origins.
